Helen Moore, M.D.

From a young age, Dr. Helen Louise Moore knew she wanted to dedicate her life to serving others. That calling became clear during a pivotal summer she spent alongside her sister, who was recovering from spinal surgery that had left her temporarily paralyzed. Watching the healthcare team work together and witnessing her sister's determination to walk again confirmed everything. Pediatrics was her path.

With nearly 30 years of practice, Dr. Moore brings a level of depth and steadiness that families feel from the very first visit. She has particular experience supporting children through behavioral and emotional challenges, including the complexities of adolescence. She believes that helping a family feel less alone and more confident during hard seasons is one of the most meaningful things a physician can do.

Her dedication to children extends well beyond the exam room. Over the years, Dr. Moore has earned recognition as one of Georgia's most respected pediatricians, including multiple Top Doctor designations, the Jefferson Award for exceptional community service, and the Grassroots Business of the Year award from Special Olympics of Georgia.
